One-component polyurethane-bitumen mastic of fast polymerization for waterproofing and protection
HYPERDESMO-PB-1K FC is a one-component binder polyurethane-bitumen liquid membrane that polymerizes very quickly over the entire surface. Despite the high rate of polymerization, bubbles do not form even at high temperatures and high humidity. HYPERDESMO ®-PB-1K FC has excellent adhesion to most surfaces, including bitumen. It is made on the basis of elastometric hydrophobic polyurethane, the binding properties are obtained through the use of chemically polymerized pure bitumen.
RECOMMENDED FOR WATERPROOFING AND PROTECTION:
Basements;
foundations (residential, private);
under a tile, as a waterproofing on balconies and in rooms with the increased humidity;
terraces, balconies, loggias;
For external and internal works;
NOT RECOMMENDED:
on fragile surfaces (strength of the base not less than 15 MPa) or surfaces exposed to UV;
application on loose bases, peeling surfaces, as well as with existing foreign inclusions (wood, textiles, etc.)
BENEFITS:
Very economical (2-2.5 kg / m2)
Fast polymerization even at low temperatures and low humidity
Minimal bubble formation
Excellent adhesion to almost any type of surface (˃2 N / mm2)
Excellent heat resistance. Maximum operating temperature + 80 ° С, maximum shock temperature + 150 ° С.
Resistance to low temperatures: the film retains its elasticity at temperatures down to -40 ° C.
Unique mechanical properties, high tensile strength (> 800%), tensile strength (30 kg / cm2), high abrasion resistance.
Excellent resistance to chemicals.
Effective water barrier.
CAUSING:
It is recommended to carry out a control application before use.
The surface must be dry, chemically neutral, smooth – without cracks and damage, clean – without dust, rust and peeling particles.
1. Clean, remove dirt residue, lagging layer, lubricate with abrasive treatment (sandblasting, diamond end mill). Clean the polymer membranes with special detergents, cleaners and degreasers.
2. Clean the surface with a high pressure washer. Remove grease and wax residue.
3. In the event / presence of cracks, cold joints, surface roughness must be repaired in advance with a cement mixture (eg, Neorep, Neocret). 4. Before applying the contents of the bucket must be thoroughly mixed with a mechanical mixer (150-200 rpm) to ensure homogeneity. Prolonged storage may result in a slight precipitate and / or separation that is removed during mixing.
Do not allow air to enter during mixing (the mixer must be inside the container with the material). To increase the life cycle of the ready-to-apply material, it is recommended to pour it into a larger container. Applied with a brush, spatula or by compressorless spray.
The material contains a solvent, so additional dilution with solvents is NOT allowed.
The surface must be protected from rain, precipitation, moisture for 1-2 hours before the appearance of the surface film. Total costs: 2-2.5 kg / m2 in two layers: the first layer – 1 – 1.25 kg / m2, the second layer – 1 – 1.25 kg / m2
If reinforcement is required, a special geotextile with a surface density of 70 – 110 g / m2 or a polyester material must be used. Paint mesh and fiberglass can also be used for reinforcement at the joints.
To increase the anti-slip properties, wear resistance and abrasion resistance, the last layer can be sprinkled with dry, clean quartz sand (fraction <5 mm).
CLEANING OF THE TOOL:
The tool must be cleaned with xylene or solvents 646, 647, 648 immediately after use.
Do not use these solvents to dilute the mastic!
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING:
When working with the material, it is necessary to protect exposed skin (gloves, protective clothing) and respiratory tract with a mask to avoid inhalation of volatile organic compounds that may be released from the material.
PRECAUTIONS:
Protect from direct sunlight and open flames.
